2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to Talladega County; providing for an
4 additional expense allowance and salary for the sheriff.
5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
6 Section 1. The Sheriff of Talladega County shall be
7 entitled to receive an additional expense allowance in the
8 amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per annum, which
9 shall be in addition to all other expense allowances,
10 compensation, or salary provided by law. This expense
11 allowance shall be payable from the general fund of the county
12 commencing upon the first day of the first month following the
13 effective date of this act.
14 Section 2. Beginning with the expiration of the term
15 of the incumbent sheriff, the annual salary for the Sheriff of
16 Talladega County shall be increased by ten thousand dollars
17 ($10,000), payable from the general fund of the county and at
18 that time, Section 1 shall become null and void.
19 Section 3. This act shall become effective
20 immediately following its passage and approval by the
21 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
