8 WHEREAS, it is an honor to recognize and commend the
9 members of the Alabama Bicentennial Student Advisory
10 Committee; and
11 WHEREAS, the committee is composed of student
12 leaders from around the state; each student was responsible
13 for taking over the AL200 Twitter account and posting short
14 video clips during a one-week period showcasing themselves,
15 their area, and what Alabama's bicentennial means to them; and
16 WHEREAS, the members of the student advisory
17 committee are Sumedha Bobba, Mary Bookman, Florence Bowman,
18 Katelyn Busby, Luker Davidson, Tameyra Drake, Skylar Elliott,
19 Martha Ernest, Isabella Fratangelo, Alison Gaston, Aylon
20 Gipson, Bryant Gordon, Taylor Griggs, Jesse Hendricks,
21 Elizabeth Hobbs, Owen Howard, Jack Johnson, Teri Kim, Colby

3 WHEREAS, the members of the Alabama Bicentennial
4 Student Advisory Committee are each greatly appreciated for
5 the public service they performed to commemorate the 200th
6 Anniversary of the State of Alabama; through their dedication
7 to Alabama's past and present, these student leaders have
8 demonstrated the brightness of Alabama's future; now
9 therefore,
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
11 HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That this body highly recognizes
12 and commends each member of the Alabama Bicentennial Student
13 Advisory Committee, and this resolution is presented with
14 heartfelt gratitude and admiration for their service to the
15 beautiful and great State of Alabama, and with best wishes for
16 a bright future.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
18 resolution be delivered to each member of the Alabama
19 Bicentennial Student Advisory Committee, as a small token of
20 our gratitude, and as a symbol of our appreciation for the
21 great things each member will undoubtedly accomplish.
