6 ENROLLED, An Act,
7 Relating to Dallas County; providing for an
8 additional expense allowance and salary for the judge of
9 probate.
10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
11 Section 1. Commencing on the first day of the month
12 immediately following the effective date of this act, the
13 Judge of Probate of Dallas County shall be entitled to an
14 additional expense allowance in the amount of thirty thousand
15 five hundred dollars ($30,500) per annum, which shall be in
16 addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or
17 salary provided by law. This expense allowance shall be
18 payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of
19 the county.
20 Section 2. Beginning with the expiration of the term
21 of the incumbent judge of probate, the annual salary for the
22 Judge of Probate of Dallas County shall be increased by thirty
23 thousand five hundred dollars ($30,500) per annum, payable in
24 equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county
25 and at that time, Section 1 shall become void.

1 Section 3. This act shall become effective on the
2 first day of the third month following its passage and
3 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
