2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
4 existence and functioning of the Alabama Board of Examiners
5 for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology until October 1,
6 2025.
7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
8 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
9 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama
10 Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
11 until October 1, 2025.
12 Section 2. The existence and functioning of the
13 Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and
14 Audiology, created and functioning pursuant to Sections
15 34-28A-1 to 34-28A-44, inclusive, Code of Alabama 1975, is
16 continued, and those code sections are expressly preserved
17 until October 1, 2025.
18 Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
19 recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
20 Sections 1 and 2.
21 Section 4. This act shall become effective
22 immediately upon its passage and approval by the Governor, or
23 its otherwise becoming law.
