2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
4 existence and functioning of the Polygraph Examiners Board
5 until October 1, 2023.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
7 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
8 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Polygraph
9 Examiners Board until October 1, 2023.
10 Section 2. The existence and functioning of the
11 Polygraph Examiners Board, created and functioning pursuant to
12 Sections 34-25-1 to 34-25-36, inclusive, Code of Alabama 1975,
13 is continued, and those code sections are expressly preserved
14 until October 1, 2023.
15 Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
16 recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
17 Sections 1 and 2.
18 Section 4. This act shall become effective
19 immediately upon its passage and approval by the Governor, or
20 its otherwise becoming law.
