2 ENROLLED, An Act,
3 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
4 existence and functioning of the State Board of Podiatry until
5 October 1, 2025.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
7 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
8 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the State Board
9 of Podiatry until October 1, 2025.
10 Section 2. The existence and functioning of the
11 State Board of Podiatry, created and functioning pursuant to
12 Sections 34-24-230 to 34-24-276, inclusive, Code of Alabama
13 1975, is continued, and those code sections are expressly
14 preserved until October 1, 2025.
15 Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
16 recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
17 Sections 1 and 2.
18 Section 4. This act shall become effective
19 immediately upon its passage and approval by the Governor, or
20 its otherwise becoming law.
