8 SYNOPSIS: This bill would require the Department of
9 Examiners of Public Accounts to audit the Alabama
10 High School Athletic Association in the same manner
11 as an agency of the state.

17 Relating to high school athletics; to require the
18 Department of Examiners of Public Accounts to audit the
19 Alabama High School Athletic Association the same manner as an
20 agency of the state.
21 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
22 Section 1. The Department of Examiners of Public
23 Accounts shall audit the Alabama High School Athletic
24 Association in the same manner as an agency of the state, as
25 provided under existing law.

1 Section 2. This act shall become effective on the
2 first day of the third month following its passage and
3 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
