2024 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill creates a help desk within the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs focused on supporting and providing
resources for military members, veterans and their families.
Some of the duties stated in the bill relating to veterans is already performed by existing staff within the Alaska Office of
Veterans Affairs. The successful continuance of current work and addition of the duties assigned under this bill,
broadening the scope of support to military members and families, will require an additional Administrative Assistant 3
position within the Office of Veterans Affairs.
