FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 95
2024 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill revises AS 46.03, the statute providing for water, air, energy, and environmental conservation.
The bill requires state water to be designated as outstanding national resource water by statute only. It prohibits water of
the state from being managed as outstanding national resource water unless the water has been designated as such by
statute.
The Division of Mining, Land and Water does not anticipate any fiscal impact.
