FOR AN ACT ENTITLED
1 "An Act establishing the month of October as Filipino American History Month."
2 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:
3 * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:
4 Sec. 44.12.152. Filipino American History Month. The month of October
5 each year is established as Filipino American History Month. Filipino American
6 History Month may be observed by schools, community groups, and other public and
7 private agencies and individuals with appropriate activities to honor and recognize the
8 contributions that Filipino Americans have made in the history of the state and the
9 United States.
