FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. LL0492
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
The bill would affirm that waters of the state may only be designated as Outstanding Natural Resource Waters (Tier 3) in
statute, and that a water of the state may not be managed as an Outstanding Natural Resource Waters without a
statutory designation.
The bill does not create additional workload for the Department of Environmental Conservation.
