FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 349
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
HB 349 makes it discretionary rather than mandatory for the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) to
hold a hearing prior to establishing a drilling unit or units for each pool, and for AOGCC to issue a notice and hold a hearing
in each instance where an exception is granted to the rules or spacing patterns prescribed to a particular pool.
AOGCC does not anticipate fiscal impact from this legislation.
