Why this fiscal note differs from previous version/comments:
This version recapitalizes the Alaska Marine Highway Vessel Replacement Fund (AS 37.05.550(a)) with the amount swept into the
Constitutional Budget Reserve under Alaska Constitution Article IX Section 17(b) on June 30, 2021. The fund will be capitalized with
the amount equal to the amount swept, reported in the FY21 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report as $18.5 million.
