FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 309
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill would add an exemption for campaing disclosure reporting for smaller groups who collect and spend $2,500 or less
per calendar year. It also removes the electronic filing requirement for such groups. A similar exemption currently exists for
state judicial retention and municipal candidates.
Additionally the bill would exempt municipal officers and candidates, in municipalities and borough with populations of
15,000 or less, from public official financial disclosure reporting requirements.
The Alaska Public Offices Commission submits a zero fiscal note.
