2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill would extend Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority's (AIDEA) authorization to finance and issue
bonds for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production system and natural gas distribution system from an end date of June 30,
2023 to June 30, 2028. This legislation will continue financing for the Interior Energy Project, which was established to
expedite the availability of lowcost energy to residents and businesses of Interior Alaska.
AIDEA does not anticipate fiscal impact from this legislation.
