FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB297
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
The Office of Children's Services conducts child welfare investigations which include assessments for safety. The division
works with a multitude of community partners in conducting its investigative work. The inclusion of military leadership as
individuals who may receive information during a child welfare investigation is not anticipated to substantially impact
operations as parameters already exist for the sharing of information.
The bill will have no fiscal or programmatic impact on the Office of Children's Services.
