                                         FOR AN ACT ENTITLED
1   "An Act establishing the Sunday after the first Saturday of March of each year as James
2   'Hobo Jim' Varsos Day."
3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:
4     * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:
5                     Sec. 44.12.167. James "Hobo Jim" Varsos Day. James "Hobo Jim" Varsos
6           Day is established on the Sunday after the first Saturday of March of each year to
7           honor James "Hobo Jim" Varsos. James "Hobo Jim" Varsos Day may be observed at
8           school assemblies and by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the
9           public.
