FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. SB070
2021 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill removes the sunset provision (June 30, 2021) to allow for perpetual authorization of a standing medical order for
the distribution and administration of naloxone by any Alaskan (AS 17.20.085(d)). Naloxone, or Narcan, is an opioid
overdose reversal drug. There is no programmatic nor fiscal impact and therefore, this is a zero fiscal note.
