 Why this fiscal note differs from previous version/comments:
 This fiscal note's impact has been reduced to zero based on changes to the committee substitute. The current version of the bill
 removes the requirement for the Division to collect and identify the house district on applications and the attestation that the applicant
 has been a resident for the past 30 days. In addition, this version no longer requires the Division to amend applications to certify under
 penalty of perjury United States citizenship.

2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
   The proposed legislation makes several changes to current election laws carried out by the Division of Elections. The
   Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) Division does not anticipate a change to the current process of including a residency
   question on the PFD application. Applicants will continue to sign and certify the information they provide is true and
   correct. In Addition, the Division does not foresee a change to current processes in sharing applicant data with the Division
   of Elections. Finally, the Division recognizes the collection of, wet, and, electronic image, ballot signatures remain the
   responsibility of the Division of Elections.
   There is no fiscal impact based on the proposed legislation.
