STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. CSHB 3(JUD)
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill adds a new section to the statutory definition of a disaster. It adds a definition for Cybersecurity attacks that affect
the critical infrastructure of the state's technology. It incorporates the procedure of identifying such threats and notifying
the Governor's office of such threats.
This legislation does not materially change the Office of Information Technology's current practice for response and
notification relating to cybersecurity threats. There is no fiscal impact to the Office of Information Technology.
