FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 36A
2021 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill identifies additional information required to be provided in the application for dealer registration. It also increases
the amount of the required bond to be $100,000 from the current requirement of $50,000, and specifies insurance
requirements for motor vehicle dealers. The Division of Motor Vehicles does not anticipate any required programming
changes to implement the changes this bill makes, and therefore submits a zero fiscal note.
