FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. 0
2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
The fiscal impact of this legislation cannot be accurately determined at this time. The bill authorizes the Department of
Military and Veterans Affairs to "use department's personnel and other resources to institute actions under AS 23.23.020,
including provisions to perform or facilitate performance of disaster emergency services." Due to the unknown nature of
the COVID-19 response, the Department is unable to calculate the estimated fiscal impact to the state and therefore
submits an indeterminate fiscal note.
