FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 307
2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This legislation would require the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to mail identification cards or driver licenses to a
Department of Corrections address for applicants who are serving a prison sentence of more than 120 days. This is within
DMVs current ability and would not have any major impact on operations or finances, the DMV therefore, submits a zero
fiscal note.
