2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill provides an increase to the base student allocation (BSA) over two fiscal years by amending AS 14.17.470, which is
currently set at $5,930.
Effective July 1, 2020 (FY2021), the BSA would increase by $115 from $5,930 to $6,045. The increase to projected state aid
entitlement is $29,880,878.
Effective July 1, 2021 (FY2022), the BSA would increase by $110 from $6,045 to $6,155. The increase to projected state aid
entitlement is $28,581,713.
