FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 232
2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
HB 232 would create an air quality improvement tax credit and an energy efficient new construction tax credit that could
be adopted by municipalities. The tax credits would offset a portion of property taxes on a property that had been
improved during the immediately preceding tax year, if the property was improved in ways that improve the air quality or
was improved with energy efficient new construction.
The Division of Community and Regional Affairs does not anticipate a fiscal impact from this bill.
