FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB146
2020 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill creates greater transparency by adding additional requirements for application to operate as a dealer of motor
vehicles, it increases the level of the required bond, and adds a new section for insurance requirements. This bill would
require minimal changes to the Division of Motor Vehicles existing dealer application and contract. These changes can be
done with existing personnel and would have no additional costs, therefore, the Division of Motor Vehicles submits a zero
fiscal note.
