FOR AN ACT ENTITLED
1 "An Act relating to the campuses of the University of Alaska; and providing for an
2 effective date."
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:
4 * Section 1. AS 14.40.040 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:
5 (c) After June 30, 2023, the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska may
6 operate only Kodiak College, Prince William Sound College, Bristol Bay Campus,
7 Chukchi Campus, Interior Alaska Campus, Kuskokwim Campus, Northwest Campus,
8 College of Rural and Community Development, and Ketchikan Campus as virtual
9 vocational learning centers and higher education portals to distance learning curricula
10 from learning centers throughout the University of Alaska system.
11 * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
