FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 158
2017 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill relieves the statutory mandate that requires the agency to establish offices in each senate district. It also codifies
current agency practices. The statutes currently require physical copies of filed statements and reports be delivered to
the Lt. Governor's Office and the LAA. The agency's online filing program and other technologies alleviate the need for
paper forms and materials for the vast majority of filers, and also makes statements and reports filed with the agency
publicly available through the agency's website.
APOC submits a zero fiscal note.
