This bill amends the distribution of revenue generated from online sports wagering in Wyoming. It mandates that, by the fifteenth day of each month, sports wagering operators must remit ten percent (10%) of their online sports wagering revenue to the commission. The bill specifies that the first $300,000 of this revenue will be continuously appropriated to the Department of Health for funding county health programs aimed at preventing and treating problematic gambling behavior.
Additionally, the bill outlines the allocation of the remaining revenue. One-half of the remainder will be deposited into the newly established Wyoming outdoor recreation and tourism trust fund income account, while the other half will be directed to the general fund. The effective date for this act is set for July 1, 2026.
