This bill amends the Wyoming Medical Assistance and Services Act to authorize payment for services rendered by birthing centers. Specifically, it adds a new paragraph (xxxix) to W.S. 42-4-103(a), which defines the services provided by birthing centers in accordance with W.S. 35-2-901(a)(iii).

The effective date for this legislation is set for July 1, 2026, allowing for the implementation of these changes to medical assistance services in Wyoming.
