This bill amends W.S. 28-8-105 by adding a new subsection (e) that mandates the legislative service office to publish a list of email addresses that have been quarantined by the legislature's email system. The list must be updated at least once daily during legislative sessions and weekly during interim periods. The published information will include the first and last letters of the email usernames, with the remaining letters obscured, along with the full domain name. Individuals who believe their emails to legislators have been quarantined can request the release of their email addresses from quarantine, which the legislative service office must process within two days, provided there is no security threat.

Additionally, the bill outlines the procedure for handling requests to release quarantined emails. If a request is made to release an entire email domain or IP address, it must be forwarded to the management council for a final decision. The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
