The bill amends the existing law regarding the distribution of revenue from online sports wagering in Wyoming. Specifically, it increases the remittance rate that sports wagering operators must pay to the commission from ten percent (10%) to twenty percent (20%) of their online sports wagering revenue from the previous month. Additionally, it maintains that the first $300,000 of revenue generated annually will be allocated to the Department of Health to support county health programs aimed at preventing and treating problematic gambling behavior, with the remaining funds directed to the state’s general fund.

The effective date for this change is set for July 1, 2026. This adjustment is intended to enhance the financial contributions from online sports wagering to support public health initiatives and the state's general fund.
