This bill amends the conditions surrounding previously appropriated funds for the Wyoming state shooting complex. Specifically, it changes the authority for the expenditure of these funds from requiring additional action by the legislature to being managed directly by the department of state parks and cultural resources. The funds allocated to the state shooting complex account are designated solely for the siting and construction of the complex and cannot be used for any other purpose. Additionally, any unspent or unobligated funds in the account will revert to their original sources by June 30, 2026, unless stated otherwise.

The bill is set to take effect immediately after all necessary legislative procedures are completed, as outlined in the Wyoming Constitution. This change aims to streamline the process for utilizing the appropriated funds for the shooting complex, ensuring that the project can proceed without further legislative delays.
