This bill amends the existing law regarding electric utility service agreements in Wyoming. It requires electric utilities to enter into service agreements with customers who have projected electric usage exceeding one hundred (100) megawatts, effective July 1, 2025. The bill modifies the current threshold for service agreements, which previously applied to customers with projected usage greater than five (5) megawatts, and introduces a new subsection that specifies the conditions under which these agreements must be made.

Specifically, the bill stipulates that an electric utility must enter into a service agreement if a new customer requests service with projected usage over one hundred (100) megawatts or if an existing customer requests additional service that results in incremental usage exceeding that threshold. The effective date for these changes is set for July 1, 2025.
