The bill authorizes the renovation of the Wyoming veterans' memorial museum and establishes a task force to oversee the project. The task force will consist of members from the legislature, state government, and a representative for veterans, and will serve in an advisory capacity to the executive branch regarding the procurement of professional services and the progress of the renovation. The task force is required to provide interim reports to the joint travel, recreation, wildlife, and cultural resources interim committee and will be staffed by the state construction department, which will coordinate meetings and communication.

Additionally, the bill appropriates a total of $5 million from the Wyoming tourism account for the renovation project, along with $25,000 each from the general fund for the legislative service office and the governor's office to cover expenses related to the task force. These appropriations are designated for the duration of the project and cannot be used for any other purpose. The task force will dissolve once the renovation project is completed and the facility is occupied. The act is effective immediately upon completion of the necessary legislative processes.
