This bill amends current election laws in Wyoming by repealing the provision that allows school identification cards to be used as acceptable forms of identification for in-person voting. Specifically, it removes the reference to school identification cards from the list of valid voter ID options in W.S. 22-1-102(a)(xxxix)(B)(VII).
The bill is set to take effect on July 1, 2025, giving voters and election officials time to adjust to the new identification requirements.
