This bill amends the Recreation Safety Act to include agritourism as a recognized recreational activity. It introduces a new definition for "Agritourism," which encompasses activities on farms, ranches, or other agricultural enterprises that allow individuals to observe or participate in agricultural production, harvesting, husbandry, or processing. The definition also highlights the educational, recreational, or entertainment aspects of agritourism, including tours, hands-on experiences, and hospitality services.

Additionally, the bill modifies the existing definition of "Sport or recreational opportunity" to explicitly include agritourism among other recreational activities. The language clarifies that this category encompasses a wide range of sporting and recreational activities while excluding skiing in designated ski areas as defined by the Ski Safety Act. The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
