This bill amends existing laws regarding the licensing and regulation of businesses operated by minors in counties, cities, and towns in Wyoming. Specifically, it prohibits local governing bodies from requiring a license, permit, or any other form of authorization for businesses operated by individuals under the age of eighteen, provided that these businesses are conducted only occasionally. The bill defines "occasionally" to mean that the business is not a habitual or regular activity of the operator.

The amendments are made to W.S. 15-1-103(a)(xiii) and 18-2-101, with new subsections added to clarify that no local authority can impose licensing requirements on minors for occasional business activities. The effective date for this legislation is set for July 1, 2025.
