A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; specifying that school
2 district vehicles that are not school buses and are used
3 for transporting students may display flashing lights as
4 specified; and providing for an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 31-5-928(f) by creating a new
9 paragraph (v) is amended to read:
10
11 31-5-928. General lighting restrictions; authorized
12 emergency vehicles.

1 (f) The following vehicles are authorized to display
2 flashing white and amber lights in addition to those
3 otherwise authorized by law:
4
5 (v) Vehicles owned by, leased by or registered
6 to a public school district that are not school buses and
7 that are used to transport children to or from school or in
8 connection with school activities.

10 Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon
11 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
12 as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
13 Constitution.
