The bill also establishes that the computation for CTE will be based on the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) career and technical education teachers and sets a funding amount of $9,428.77 per FTE or $18,857.57 for equipment and supplies, whichever is greater.

Additionally, the bill appropriates $350,000 from the public school foundation program account to the department of education for CTE supplies and equipment, effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. This funding is intended to support school districts in meeting the new requirements established by the bill. The act will take effect on July 1, 2025, and any unspent funds from this appropriation will revert as per the law.
