This bill modifies the career and technical education (CTE) equipment and supplies component within the education resource block grant model in Wyoming. It amends definitions and provisions related to the funding and computation of CTE resources, specifically changing references from "vocational" education to "career and technical" education throughout the relevant statutes. The bill also establishes that the funding for CTE will be based on the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) career and technical education teachers and sets a minimum funding amount of $9,428.77 per FTE or $18,857.57 for equipment and supplies.

Additionally, the bill appropriates $350,000 from the public school foundation program account to support CTE supplies and equipment for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. This funding is intended to address the needs arising from the amendments made in the bill. The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025, and any unspent funds from this appropriation will revert as per the law by the end of the fiscal period.
