A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; increasing annual
2 registration fees for resident snowmobiles; increasing
3 nonresident annual snowmobile user fees; and providing for
4 an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 31-2-404(a)(i) and (ii) and
9 31-2-409(a)(ii) are amended to read:

1 31-2-404. Amount of fee; ad valorem tax exemption;
2 disposition of fees; duties of department of state parks
3 and cultural resources.

5 (a) Except as provided in W.S. 31-2-408, the annual
6 registration fee for a resident snowmobile is:
7
8 (i) For a snowmobile intended for private use
9 $35.00$50.00;
10
11 (ii) For a commercial snowmobile $105.00$150.00.

13 31-2-409. Snowmobile user fee; amount of fee; disposition
14 of fees; account created; duties of department of state
15 parks and cultural resources; duration of decal;
16 exemptions.

18 (a) There shall be collected by selling agents an
19 annual nonresident snowmobile user fee for nonresident
20 snowmobiles operated in Wyoming as follows:

22 (ii) For any nonresident snowmobile not exempt
23 under subsection (f) of this section $35.00$70.00.
