A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to public programs; making an appropriation
2 to the 988 system trust fund account as specified; and
3 providing for an effective date.

5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

7 Section 1. There is appropriated forty million
8 dollars ($40,000,000.00) from the general fund to the 988
9 system trust fund account created by W.S. 35-25-506(a).
10 This appropriation shall be subject to the requirements of
11 W.S. 35-25-506 and shall not be expended for any other
12 purpose not specified in W.S. 35-25-506. Notwithstanding
13 W.S. 9‑2‑1008, 9‑2‑1012(e) and 9‑4‑207, this appropriation

1 shall remain in effect and shall not revert except upon
2 further legislative action.

4 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2024.
