A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to elections; prohibiting a person from
2 distributing unsolicited absentee ballot application forms
3 to any qualified elector as specified; and providing for an
4 effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 22-9-104 by creating a new subsection
9 (e) is amended to read:

11 22-9-104. How to apply; information required.

13 (e) No person, except a county clerk, the secretary
14 of state of their designees, shall distribute an absentee

1 ballot request form by mail, email or any other means to
2 any qualified elector unless that qualified elector
3 specifically solicits an absentee ballot form.

5 Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon
6 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
7 as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
8 Constitution.
