A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to public utilities; requiring that the
2 public service commission prohibit rate recovery of all
3 costs resulting from voluntary donations by a utility; and
4 providing for an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 37-2-122 by creating a new subsection
9 (f) is amended to read:
10
11 37-2-122. Matters considered in fixing rates; order
12 changing services or facilities; qualifying facilities
13 contracts; voluntary donations.

15 (f) In setting rates, the commission shall prohibit
16 rate recovery of all costs, including initial and ongoing

1 costs, resulting from or related to voluntary donations
2 made by a utility.

4 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2024.
