A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to political parties; clarifying voting
2 requirements for members of the state central committee of
3 major political parties; and providing for an effective
4 date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 22-4-110 is amended to read:
9
10 22-4-110. Composition of state central committee;
11 voting.

13 The state central committee consists of state committeemen
14 and committeewomen and county chairmen elected at the
15 odd-numbered year meeting of the county central committees,
16 and of any other party officials provided by the bylaws of

1 the party. Voting on any action of the state central
2 committee shall be conducted in a manner so that the votes
3 of each voting member are weighted across all voting
4 members based on the number of registered voters of the
5 party at the last congressional election in the county of
6 the voting member in proportion to the total number of
7 statewide registered voters of the party at the last
8 congressional election.

10 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2024.
