This bill establishes a special hunting week for volunteer firefighters and volunteer emergency medical technicians in Wyoming. It amends W.S. 23-1-302 to empower the game and fish commission to set a date for these volunteers, who are residents and have purchased a hunting license, to begin hunting antelope, deer, and elk seven days prior to the regular hunting seasons for the general population. The provisions of this act will apply to all regular antelope, deer, and elk hunting seasons starting on or after January 1, 2025.
