1 AN ACT relating to public health and safety; exempting
2 flow-through pools from the public pool and spa health and
3 safety act; providing definitions; and providing for an
4 effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 35-28-111 is created to read:
9
10 35-28-111. Exemptions.
11
12 Flow-through pools are exempt from the provisions of this
13 act.

2 Section 2. W.S. 35-28-101(a) by creating a new
3 paragraph (xv) is amended to read:

5 35-28-101. Definitions.

7 (a) As used in this act:
8
9 (xv) "Flow-through pool" means an artificial or
10 partially artificial pool that depends on the natural flow
11 of water to maintain adequate water quality.

13 Section 3. This act is effective July 1, 2024.
