A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to cities and towns; authorizing the city
2 clerk to name a designee to serve as ex officio clerk of
3 the civil service commission within the clerk's
4 incorporated municipality; and providing for an effective
5 date.

7 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

9 Section 1. W.S. 15-5-104 is amended to read:
10
11 15-5-104. Civil service commission; offices; clerk;
12 preliminary expenses.

14 The governing body shall furnish the commission's necessary
15 offices, office furniture, books, stationery, blanks,

1 printing, heat, light and any other supplies. The city
2 clerk is or the clerk's designee shall serve as ex officio
3 clerk of the commissions commission without extra
4 compensation. Expenses incurred before the adoption of the
5 next budget following the organization of any commission
6 may be defrayed from any funds available or included in the
7 next budget.

9 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2023.
