A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to crimes and offenses; amending the
2 definition of child pornography for the offense of sexual
3 exploitation of children to include cartoons and other
4 depictions; repealing an exemption from promoting obscenity
5 for activities conducted in the course of employment at a
6 school, college, university, museum or public library; and
7 providing for an effective date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

11 Section 1. W.S. 6-4-303(a)(ii)(intro) is amended to
12 read:

1 6-4-303. Sexual exploitation of children; penalties;

4 (a) As used in this section:
5
6 (ii) "Child pornography" means any visual
7 depiction, including any photograph, film, video, picture,
8 cartoon, drawing, computer or computer-generated image or
9 picture, whether or not made or produced by electronic,
10 mechanical or other means, or any other form of depiction
11 of explicit sexual conduct, where:

13 Section 2. W.S. 6-4-302(c)(ii) is repealed.

15 Section 3. This act is effective July 1, 2023.
