1 AN ACT relating to public health and safety; establishing
2 visitation rights; and providing for an effective date.

4 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

6 Section 1. W.S. 35-2-914 is created to read:
7
8 35-2-914. Visitation rights.

10 Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a health care
11 facility shall allow visitation for a person receiving care
12 in the facility for a period of more than five (5)
13 consecutive days. The health care facility shall not impose
14 restrictions on visitation under this section. The health
15 care facility shall allow the person receiving care or that

1 person's representative to designate persons as visitors or
2 to prohibit some or all visitation under this section.

4 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2022.
